Your One Stop Shop for Tourism in Javea

There are dozens of attractions in Javea, often considered one of the most important tourist’s centers in all of Spain. Javea is located within the Alicante province of Spain. Of all the places to visit in Javea, one considered a one-stop-shop for tourists is Nao, Javea.

Nao, Javea offers visitors twenty km of beautiful sandy beaches, with many water sports and hidden coves. Cape Nao is the perfect destination for visitors looking for something out-of-the-way that includes restaurants, recreation and a privileged setting.

Nao is host to many unique sites including Granadella Cove, featuring golden sand, one of the more attractive spots along the coast of Javea.

The city of Javea is hidden along the foot of the Montgo Massif within the historic section of the city. Visitors can take a time out at the church of San Bortolome, considered one of the most beautiful of the Isabelline Gothic churches that was constructed to defend and fortify the city against many pirate attacks in the early part of history.

There is much architecture that is an inspiration to artists in the area, much of it highlighted in the Archaeological and Ethnographic museum in the center of town. In the harbor, visitors can stop in and visit the church of the Lady of Loreto, which also features much of the architecture prominent throughout the city.

The city also has plenty of Javea villas for tourists to choose from and stay in throughout their holiday. So you can take full advantage of what Javea has to offer and go back you your villa at the end of the day and just relax.

Many of the restaurants feature Mediterranean foods, including paella, salsa ali-oli, rice, beans, almonds, raisins, figs, and sweet wine called misteleta. Be sure to celebrate with locals and before you leave, visit the lighthouses at Cabo de San Antonio Marine Nature Reserve… you won’t regret it, and you won’t want to leave.
